Bishop's House, a bed and breakfast in Easton, Maryland, is situated on a large landscaped, shaded lot among other stately homes on a quiet tree-lined street and offers an atmosphere of warmth, tranquility, and elegance. The Maryland Eastern Shore accommodations of our B&B consist of large rooms where lovingly created details such as antique furnishings are complemented with modern conveniences. Bishop's House offers the amenities normally found in much larger properties coupled with the personal attention found only in the very best bed and breakfasts.
All five guestroom accommodations have private baths, ceiling fans, cable TV with DVD player, clock radio, CD player, phone jack for modem hook-up, high speed wireless connection, a doeskin guest robe, luxurious 1000 thread count bed linens, down comforters (in season), steam iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and individually controlled air conditioning. Second floor guestrooms have working fireplaces, and four guestrooms have whirlpool tubs.
Cable TV/VCR, outgoing fax machine, telephone, and laptop computer are available in the small drawing room on the first floor, where guests may also choose from a video library and an eclectic selection of books. Two of the first floor common rooms have gas log fireplaces and complimentary high speed wireless connection is available throughout the house.
A third floor sitting room is available to guests complete with cable TV/DVD and VCR player, video and DVD library, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, ice maker, wine cooler, coffee, and a selection of teas, hot chocolate, sodas, and snacks.
